Preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ritch; son, Larry Dale Ritch; daughter, Sandra Faye Ferguson. James retired from Connors Steel in Birmingham. Longtime volunteer fireman for the Cook Springs Fire Department. Survived by 2 sons, Stephen Ritch and Aulton G. Ritch; 4 daughters, Shelia Nee, Renè Ritch, Terry Ritch Hurst, and Beverly Bowman; his brother Armond Ritch; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
