      A memorial celebration will be held for Wanda Joan Ritch at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at The Church of Garden Valley with Pastor Brad Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. before the service.

      Wanda Joan was born Novemer 2, 1942 to the late C.W. and Alvie McDow. Mrs. Ritch passed away at the age of 75 on January 13, 2018 in Tyler.

      Wanda had made reservations many years ago and was able to reach her destination with her children and grandchildren by her side. She led by example from working hard to loving big.

      She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Buddy Ritch, and her oldest daughter, Karla Ritch Ricardo.

      Survivors include her daughter, Kelli Allen and husband Brent of Swan Lake; son Kirk Ritch and wife Amy of Baytown; step-son, Pete Ritch of Van; sister, Patsy Ward of Ben Wheeler; brother, Danny McDow of Chapel Hill; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; too many nieces and nephews to count; a cousin who was as close as a sister & a partner in crime, Hilda Stanley of Tyler; and one loyal life-long friend, Carla Krause of Arkansas.
