He married Mary Munson on Aug. 10, 1929 in Moira.
He was a supervisor and crane operator for Aluminum Company of America.
Surviving was his wife; three sons, Robert, Dewey and Roger; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Kathryn) Jarrett; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Shaw.
Four brothers, Floyd E., Carl, Bruce and Clyde, died before him.
