      Dr. Irving Ritch, 96 died Oct. 23, 2009, at his home. He was born in New Haven, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for five years, coming from Coconut Creek and New Haven, Conn. He was an Army veteran, serving in World War II. Before retirement, he was a dentist for 50 years in West Haven, Conn. He was a one-time All American soccer player and a graduate of Lafayette College and Marquette Dental School. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Ritch of Vero Beach; daughter, Judy Mackes of Port St. Lucie; sons, Donald Ritch of Nanuet, N.Y., and Stephen Ritch of Boca Raton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services: Services will be private. Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
