      on 26th June 1920 arrived in New York with his brother Thomas on the "Columbia" from Glasgow a Loco Fireman to meet with a James Whitton in Newville, Tennesee. I thought it stated that he was a brother but his brother James died under aged 1 in 1903 so perhaps it was another relative. Scottish address was James Whitton, 736 Polloxkshaws Road, Glasgow (His mother married his Uncle James Whitton so this is his step father!)
