    • W. W. ‘Billy' Whitton of Bremen passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Jefferson County, AL, December 26, 1930, son of the late Grady Whitton and Dora Teal Whitton. Mr. Whitton retired from Lockheed in 1986 after 36 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Poseyville United Methodist Church.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Whitton, a granddaughter, Stacy Alongi and brothers, G. W. Whitton and Douglas Whitton
