    • Tom “Harold” Whitton of Bremen passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Bremen, May 21, 1933, son of the late Grady Washington Whitton and Dora Teal Whitton. Mr. Whitton was a retired employee of Lockheed Company, a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and a member of the Bremen Masonic Lodge #456.
      Survivors include his children, Shryl Hardin of Buchanan, Yevonne and Johnny Duncan of Bakersville, NC, DeWanda and Jim Stephens of Douglasville, Andrea Bell of Bremen and Tommy and Cassie Whitton of Bremen.
      Services will be Friday, February 16 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Duane McManus and Reverend Nathan Silvers officiating. Music will be furnished by the Poseyville Church Choir accompanied by Maxine House. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
