    • WELLS Mrs. Anita E. Wells, age 78, of Greenwood Lane, Monroe, wife of the late Frederick Wells, died January11, 2006, at Glendale Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Wells was born December 4, 1927 in Nova Scotia, Canada, a daughter of the late Clayton and Myrtle (Eisner) Wentzell. She was in sales most of her life in the Monroe area. She was also an avid Canasta card player. She is survived by three sons, Stephen Wells of Vancouver, B.C., Brian Wells of Rhode Island, and David Wells of Naugatuck; a daughter Sandra Kamen of Naugatuck; one brother, Clayton Wentzell of Massachusetts; two sisters, Barbara Leary of Massachusetts, and Joan Ricks of Wisconsin; six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, Rt. 69, Waterbury Prospect Road, Prospect, at a time to be announced. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 1004 Meriden, Ct. 06450-1004 -
