      Arrived in New York in 8th August 1923 on the "Cameronia" from Glasgow via Quebec, address given as 135 So Boulvarde. West Springfield Mass. aged 51.
      Both naturalised American Citizens 26-9-1921 Mass However there is a note to say that neither Alexander nor his wife embarked "Short Shipped" but I cant see another arrival!!! in USA. The departure record shows an address in Scotland, 5 Prospect Street, which was the address of his half brothers son. They must have taken another ship as they arrived on the "Athenia" from Glasgow at Montreal, Quebec on the 23rd August 1923
      A friend of Alexander's a John Ivory a Grocer whose father was , John Ivory 45 High Street, Leslie Fife Scotland, travelled on the "Cameronia" from Glasgow to Boston on 4th October 1923 giving his destination as Alexander Whitton, 151 So Boulevard, Springfield, Massachusetts
