      She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Gertrude Wilkinson; her husband, Norman Whitton; her brothers, Elmo, Austin and Audrey Wilkinson; her sisters, Maude W. Grundy and Temple W. Apperson.
      Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jo W. and Bill Hooten of Peachtree, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, John Howard and Hazel Farmer of Irvington; grandchildren, Lee Farmer and wife, Kim of Heathsville, Mary Ellen Farmer of Knoxville, Tenn.; great grandchildren, Laura Farmer of Heathsville, Alicia, Noah and Isaiah Donaldson of Knoxville, Tenn.; nephew, Wayne Davidson of Frederick, Md.; nieces, Jeanette D. Johnson, Donna W. Walker, Sherie W. Mesco, Barbara G. Wirt, Brenda W. Adams, Janet A. Silverthorne and Claudia Apperson all of Virginia.
      Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 30 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, Ga. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1at Fort Hill Memorial Park, Lynchburg, conducted by her son and grandson
