      Nelson McLin Expires After Traffic Mishap 15 Michigan People Meet Violent Death Over Past Week-End- Apparently stricken while at the wheel of his automobile, which crashed into another ear early Sunday on Napier road near Pearl Grange, Nelson Napier McLin, 65, prominent local man, died at the St. Joseph Sanitarium at 5 o'clock Sunday evening. Deputies Roscoe Conklin and Victor Yost of the sheriffs department, who investigated, said McLin was driving west at about 15 miles an hour when his car swerved to the left and collided with an automobile driven by Gerald South, 18, of R. ; 2; Benton Harbor. When the officers arrived they took McLin to the sheriff's headquarters for routine questioning. Although McLin allegedly showed no evidence of injury he was ill and was later ordered taken to the St. Joseph sanitarium, where death Occurred. He had lived on Lincoln Avenue south of St. Joseph for 36 years and had been associated with the state highway department for 20 years after which he ran a Texaco filling station on West Main street, Benton Harbor, Besides his wife he Is survived by ' one daughter, Mrs.Edwin Holtanan, Jr., of Grosse" Pointes one son Lt.
