    • Helen Leila Dorene Helen Leila Dorene Whitton (nee Hanbidge), beloved wife of the late Albert (Bert) Whitton of Calgary, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, November 28, 2003, at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Roberta (Ross) Creber, Vance (Deborah), Dale (Carolyn), Myrna (James) LeBlanc and Keith (Ellie); her grandchildren, Dawn (Dan) O'Dwyer, Steven (Lara) Creber, Christopher Whitton, Kevin Whitton, Laurel Whitton, Jeffrey LeBlanc and Matthew Whitton; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Colin O'Dwyer and Grayden Creber. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ruthanne Hanbidge (Saskatoon) and brother-in-law Robert Banks (Vancouver) and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Helen graduated as a registered nurse from Saskatoon City General Hospital in 1940. She was an active curler, golfer, volunteer, and dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Orritt officiating.
