      Services for Martin S. Whitton, 45, of 212 Elmbrook Dr., who died yesterday at his home after suffering a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Goodfellow & Newell Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Guckert officiating. A native of Pompey, Mr. Whitton was graduated from the Pompey Academy and was a member of the Manlius Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and served in Europe with his brother, Harold, who was fatally wounded in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of Jamesville Post, VFW; Jamesville Men’s Club and the Carpenters’ Union, Local 12. He resided in Manlius four years. Mr. Whitton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice M. Whitton; two sons, George W. and Martin S., Jr.; two brothers, Charles of Pompey and George of Compton, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Elmon Radway of Pompey, Mrs. Dorothy Goodfellow and Mrs. Clifford Caines of Manlius. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens DeWitt.
