WHITTON, John Alexander "Sandy" (Captain Retired R.C.D.) Peacefully in his sleep at home on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 87. Sandy was the beloved husband of the late Beth McRae, and the loving father of Catherine and Anna Whitton. Brother of the late David McNeil Whitton. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. There will be a Service to Celebrate his life at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, ON, on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11 o'clock. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
