    • Margaret Whitton 1920 ~ 2008 Margaret Whitton died September 17, 2008. She was born July 25, 1920 in Perth, Western Australia to Annie Elizabeth Badelier and John Whitton. She grew up in Western Australia where she attended Nursing School, specializing in OB nursing and becoming a very skilled, capable and caring nurse. She moved to Canada in 1952, where she continued her work as a nurse. In 1960 she moved to the USA, using her nursing skills at St. Marks Hospital in SLC, specializing in babies. Margot was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She was a true light and a true christian. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie Perry and her husband Jacob Perry, granddaughters Kairee Ann Staples and Taylor Perry, and grandson Christopher Perry, all of Magna. Another daughter, Nanette Whitton, is deceased. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen Christensen, Alison Reeder, and Eluned Stanton, as well as 26 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sat., Sept. 20 at 2 p.m at Lake Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 10055 S. State St, Sandy. Viewing 1 hour prior to services. -
