      A piper of some note spent long spells away taking part in competitions for money.
      He was about 6\'4\", photos show him to be quite handsome. He was said to toss the caber, brilliant Scots dancer. Apparently he modelled for a poster for Black & White Whisky - Highland scene with Granddad (full Highland dress) + 2 terriers. He was often seen on huge London Underground posters per Pat Jean Martin Feb 2006
